The Flos Kelvin LED task lamp was first presented to the public in 2009 and was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2011, recognizing it for its innovative and elegant integration of energy efficient technology. Designed by the esteemed Antonio Citterio with Toan Nguyen, this lamp is a New Classic in the making. Clean, beautiful and efficient, it’s truly an inspiring piece to be around.

Its base and body are constructed of fused and extruded aluminum alloy, its outer head is made of die-cast aluminum and its ON/OFF switch is a touch-operated electronic optical mechanism located on its head. In short, this is a lamp that is built as strong as it is smart. Available in a glossy white, black or anthracite finish the Kelvin LED provides direct, warm white illumination with Thirty 1W LED diodes from an unconventional flat square diffuser. It’s surely ahead of the curve but already it feels like a staple.
